The feds appealed the State of Mississippi’s way of counting mail-in ballots….allowing them to be counted as long as they were just postmarked by Election Day. Just as WA and about a dozen other states ...

I looked at my 2025 tax statement. I believe that increase - which is about +30% - would apply ONLY to the ‘Current County Expense’ sub-item….not to your entire tax bill.
I think.

Still that would amount to about a $125 increase on my taxes.
